Paraplanner

Overview

We are a financial services company based in Southport on the Gold Coast. We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our rapidly growing team delivering outsourced paraplanning services to financial planners.

Our financial planning clients rely on us to support them and their businesses in a variety of different ways. Your focus will be on preparing high quality Statements of Advice including:

  • Analysing and inputting client data
  • Conducting product and technical research
  • Developing strategies and performing calculations
  • Translating technical strategies into simple language
  • Meeting compliance and quality checks

We are looking for someone who can deliver a professional service but enjoys working in a friendly, relaxed, casual environment.

We currently have available positions ranging from entry level through to senior paraplanner. Our ideal candidates demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Extreme proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • A desire to learn demonstrated through relevant study
  • An understanding of financial planning fundamentals at minimum
  • Experience with Xplan, Coin or Midwinter will be highly regarded.

Quality Assurance Manager

Overview

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our rapidly growing organisation. This is an exciting new role where you will have the opportunity to work and develop your skills with some of the most successful advisers, paraplanners and professionals in our industry.

Reporting to the paraplanning manager you will be responsible for the review and final edit of advice documents across a broad range of strategies. This will include providing feedback and training to our paraplanners as well as liaising with our financial planning clientele.

  • Sound financial planning technical and compliance knowledge
  • Paraplanning experience using financial planning software
  • Extreme proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
  • Team leading experience will be highly regarded
  • Relevant academic qualifications will also provide advantage

Compliance Consultant

Overview

We are seeking a compliance consultant to assist our proposition in delivering non-invasive compliance related audit and review services to financial planners. This position involves reviewing the work of financial planners, across a number distribution channels and geographic locations in respect to ensuring regulatory requirements and customers best interests are met.

Reporting to the director your role may include:

  • Reviewing financial planning business processes and client files to mitigate risk and improve the quality of advice
  • The identification and classification of business risks and legislation breaches
  • The development and execution of remedial action plans
  • Providing compliance guidance and support via phone and email
  • Developing and delivering presentations and training on relevant subjects and induction programs
  • Managing relationships with advisers and practice managers through a collaborative review process
  • Assisting with compliance projects and the development of practical compliance solutions

We are looking for

  • Sound financial planning compliance knowledge
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
  • Impeccable analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Superb time management - the ability to plan your own timetable and work autonomously
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of Advisers and regional /interstate travel is also required
